Baskochi Meadows is located in the Hunza-Nagar region of Gilgit-Baltistan, above Attabad Lake and near Shishkat village. If you are planning to visit Hunza, you will need to leave your destination and the trek begins at a parking area near Tunnel 2 or Tunnel 3, where locals can easily point you to the trail. If you use GPS, the approximate coordinates are: 36.31119° N, 74.86537° E. It is safer to walk with a local guide, as some parts of the trail are narrow and rocky.

Baskochi Trek Details (Distance, Duration & Difficulty
The Baskochi Meadows trek has a round-trip distance of approximately 3 km and a duration of 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the pace. The trail is mostly uphill and of easy to moderate difficulty. Tickets are available. There will be ticket booths along the way, with tickets costing around five hundred rupees. Water for foreigners can be found here. Fill bottles and start trekking. Beginners and intermediate hikers can easily manage. During the trek, you’ll encounter open grazing lands, alpine meadows, and small streams, making the trek experience even more scenic.
