Yasin Valley – a hidden paradise of Gilgit-Baltistan
Introduction
Yasin Valley, located in a remote corner of Ghizer District, Gilgit-Baltistan, is still quite far from tourism. It takes up to 5 hours to reach here from Gilgit. The pure village life here makes you even more impressed. Lalik Jan, the holder of the country who sacrificed his life for the country, belongs to this village. He became the 11th and latest recipient of the Nishan-e-Haider, honoured for his exceptional courage and heroic role in the Kargil War., and his last resting place is also here.
