Begin your journey with a drive from Islamabad to Chilas, covering a distance of approximately 279 km. Travel through Mansehra, Naran, and Jalkhad, with a lunch break along the way. As you approach Chilas, continue the drive for an additional 3-4 hours via the Babusar Pass, a high mountain pass known for its breathtaking views. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding landscapes as you reach Chilas, where you'll rest for the night.

Set off for Karimabad in Hunza, a journey of around 6-7 hours. En route, make a stop at Thalichi, where the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindukush mountain ranges converge, offering a unique photo opportunity. Continue to the Rakaposhi viewpoint to capture stunning images of Rakaposhi and enjoy some refreshments. The scenic drive takes you through lush valleys and along dramatic mountain roads, culminating in your arrival in Karimabad.

Travel from Karimabad to Shimshal, a 4-5 hour drive that takes you through some of the most scenic routes in the region. On your way, visit Attabad Lake, a striking turquoise lake formed by a landslide in 2010. Explore the charming village of Gulmit, cross the impressive Hussaini Suspension Bridge, and admire the Passu and Batura glaciers.
