Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Islamabad airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a comprehensive city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Visit prominent landmarks including the Faisal Mosque, Shakar Parian, Pakistan Monument, Daman-e-Koh, Lok Versa Museum, and explore the bustling bazaars of Rawalpindi, such as Raja Bazaar. This initial day sets the stage for your adventure on the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek.

Embark on a thrilling one-hour flight from Islamabad to Skardu, providing a scenic introduction to the Karakoram region. Upon arrival in Skardu, you have the afternoon free to explore the town, including its markets and local attractions. If weather conditions prevent the flight, we will commence the journey by road to Chilas via the Babusar Pass, covering 461 km over a longer period.

Enjoy a free day in Skardu, which offers a chance to acclimatize and prepare for the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek. Use this time to visit the local bazaar and Khurpucho Fort. If the flight on Day 2 was canceled, you will spend approximately 8-9 hours driving from Chilas to Skardu, following the scenic route along the Indus River.

Start your journey from Skardu to Hushe, the gateway to the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek. The drive takes 6-7 hours and covers 120 km. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as the jeep road crosses the Shyok River and passes through picturesque villages including Khaplu, Macholo, Kanday, and Khane. Hushe serves as the starting point for your trek.

Begin your trek from Hushe village to Parbisan, a journey that takes approximately 3-4 hours covering 6.9 km. Parbisan will be your first campsite on the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek, offering stunning views and a serene environment.

Trek from Parbisan to Brumbrama, which takes about 3-4 hours to cover 4.1 km. Brumbrama will be your campsite for the night, providing a strategic point as you continue your ascent on the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek.

Hike from Brumbrama to Masherbrum Base Camp, a trek that takes approximately 3-4 hours. The Masherbrum Base Camp is a highlight of the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek, offering unparalleled views of the majestic Masherbrum peak and the surrounding mountains.

Begin your return trek from Masherbrum Base Camp back to Brumbrama. This return journey takes about 4 hours, retracing your steps through the landscapes you encountered earlier on the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek.

Trek from Brumbrama back to Hushe village, completing another segment of the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek. This trek allows you to revisit and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the route.

Travel back to Skardu from Hushe, a journey that takes 6-7 hours. This drive concludes the trekking portion of the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek and returns you to the town of Skardu.

Fly from Skardu to Islamabad. After your arrival, the afternoon is free for additional exploration or relaxation. If the flight is canceled due to weather, you will start the drive to Islamabad, traveling for approximately 9 hours along the Indus River to reach Chilas.

Day 13 :
Departiure
