Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Islamabad International Airport for the Hushe K7 Base Camp Trek, you will be warmly welcomed by our team and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Explore the architectural grandeur of the Faisal Mosque, enjoy panoramic views from Shakar Parian, and delve into history at the Pakistan Monument. Experience the vibrant local culture at Lok Virsa Museum, and conclude your day with a visit to the bustling old bazaars of Rawalpindi, including the famous Raja Bazaar.

Start your day with a spectacular flight from Islamabad to Skardu, marking the beginning of your Hushe K7 Base Camp Trek. As you soar above the clouds, enjoy breathtaking views of the mighty Karakoram and Himalayan mountain ranges. Upon arrival in Skardu, the afternoon is yours to explore the town at your leisure. Wander through the Skardu Bazaar, interact with the friendly locals, and soak in the tranquil beauty of this mountain town.
Note: In case of flight cancellation due to weather conditions, we will embark on a scenic drive to Chilas via the Babusar Pass.

Today is a day of rest and preparation before embarking on the Hushe K7 Base Camp Trek. Use this time to finalize any last-minute arrangements for your adventure. You can also take the opportunity to explore some of Skardu’s local attractions. Visit the historic Khurpucho Fort for stunning views of the Indus River, or delve into the local culture with a stroll through the Skardu Bazaar, which offers a unique glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the region.
Note: If the flight was canceled on Day 2, this day will be spent driving from Chilas to Skardu along the scenic route of the Indus River.

Today, embark on an adventurous drive from Skardu to Hushe, the starting point of your trek. The journey takes you through picturesque valleys and along the banks of the Shyok River. You will pass through charming villages such as Khaplu, Macholo, Kanday, and Khaney, where you can observe the rural life of Baltistan. The drive offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, making it a perfect introduction to the grandeur of the Karakoram.

Your trekking adventure begins as you set out from Hushe village, making your way to Saicho. The trail takes you through verdant meadows, past small settlements, and along the banks of glacial streams. As you trek, enjoy the stunning vistas of snow-capped peaks and rugged terrain. Saicho serves as your first campsite on the journey, offering a peaceful spot to rest and acclimatize.

Continue your trek from Saicho to Spangser, following a route that offers increasingly dramatic mountain scenery. The trail takes you deeper into the Karakoram range, with towering peaks surrounding you on all sides. As you approach Spangser, you will be treated to views of the impressive Tsarak Tsa Glacier, a prelude to the challenging terrain ahead.

Today’s trek takes you to the highlight of your journey – the K7 Base Camp. The trail becomes more demanding as you navigate the ablation valley north of the Tsarak Tsa Glacier. The challenging terrain rewards you with unparalleled views of the majestic K7 Peak, standing tall at 6,934 meters. Upon reaching the base camp, set up your camp and take in the awe-inspiring surroundings, with the towering peak dominating the skyline.

Spend a day at K7 Base Camp to explore the area and appreciate the grandeur of the Karakoram. This day is ideal for acclimatization, photography, or simply soaking in the serene beauty of the landscape. You may choose to explore the nearby glaciers, or embark on a short hike to get a closer view of K7 Peak and other nearby summits. This is a day to reflect on the journey so far and prepare for the trek back.

Begin your return journey by trekking back from K7 Base Camp to Saicho. The descent offers a different perspective of the terrain you crossed earlier, with ample opportunities to capture stunning photographs. The familiar trail allows you to relax and enjoy the scenery as you make your way back to the campsite at Saicho.

Continue your descent as you trek from Saicho back to Hushe village. This is your last trekking day, so take time to savor the final moments of your adventure in the Karakoram. Upon reaching Hushe, celebrate the successful completion of your trek with your fellow travelers.

After bidding farewell to the Hushe Valley, embark on the drive back to Skardu. The return journey takes you through the familiar landscapes, allowing you to reflect on the memories created during your trek. Once in Skardu, enjoy the evening at leisure, perhaps with a visit to the Bazaar or a relaxing stroll along the riverbank.

Today, you will take a flight back to Islamabad, once again enjoying the aerial views of the mighty mountains. Upon arrival in Islamabad, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the capital city at your own pace. You may choose to visit additional landmarks, indulge in some last-minute shopping, or simply relax after your journey.

Departure

After an unforgettable adventure on the Hushe K7 Base Camp, it's time to say goodbye. You will be transferred to Islamabad International Airport for your departure flight, taking with you memories of the breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality of northern Pakistan.
