Itinerary

Arrival at Islamabad International Airport. Transfer to a centrally located hotel in Islamabad. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Early morning flight to Gilgit from Islamabad. Upon arrival, drive to Karimabad. En route, stop at the Rakaposhi viewpoint. Check-in at the hotel in Karimabad. Overnight stay in Karimabad, Hunza Valley.

Depart from Karimabad and trek through Hopper Valley towards Shiskin. Cross the Hoper Glacier and trek along the lateral moraine. Overnight camping at Shiskin.

Continue trekking from Shiskin to Barpu Giram. Climb a stony and hot gully to reach Barpu Glacier. Overnight camping at Barpu Giram.

Trek to Rush Lake via Barpu Giram. Enjoy views of Hispar Gorge and peaks like Lupghar and Trivor. Overnight camping at Rush Lake.

Ascend Rush Peak (5098m) after breakfast for panoramic views. Return to Rush Lake for overnight camping.

Day 7 :
Rush Lake

Rest day at Rush Lake to enjoy the surroundings and views. Overnight camping at Rush Lake.

Descend to Datchugan, offering views of Miar Glacier and Rakaposhi range. Overnight stay at Datchugan.

Trek from Datchugan, crossing Miar Glacier with views of Miar Peak (6824m). Overnight camping at Hamdar.

Trek to Hapakun and then Hopper Valley. Drive to Karimabad in Hunza Valley. Overnight stay in Karimabad.

Visit Baltit Fort, Karimabad Bazaar, and Altit Fort. After lunch, boat at Attabad Lake and drive to Gulmit. Overnight stay in Gulmit, Upper Hunza Valley.

Drive to Hussaini Village and visit the Hussaini suspension bridges. Visit Passu village and experience village life. Overnight stay in Gulmit.

Full-day excursion to Khunjerab Pass, the border between Pakistan and China. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Drive to Gilgit, visit Gilgit Bazaar and cooperative store. Check-in at the hotel in Gilgit. Overnight stay in Gilgit.

Flight to Islamabad from Gilgit. Visit Taxila Museum and Islamabad landmarks. Farewell dinner and transfer to Islamabad International Airport.
