How to Reach Base Camp
The journey to Gasherbrum Base Camp starts from Skardu, a gateway to the Karakoram. From Skardu, trekkers take a jeep ride to Askole, the last village before the trek begins. The multi-day trek follows the Baltoro Glacier, passing famous landmarks such as Concordia, the meeting point of some of the highest peaks on Earth. This trek is considered one of the most scenic yet demanding routes in the world.

These peaks are part of the Gasherbrum massif, a remote and untouched region of the Karakoram. It means “Beautiful Mountain” in local language Balti.
